PMC Dental Care

The department of dental care at PMC was started in 2012 to provide specialist dental services for the residents of Sialkot & surrounding districts. Recently the department of dentistry has been renovated to meet the international dental care standards.

The department is housed in purpose build facility with two dental surgery units, equipped with hi-tech dental units, digital x-rays, autoclaves and all related accessories. Beginning with the induction of one dental surgeon, now the department has 3 female dental surgeons, two male dental surgeons offering services in morning ( 9:00 am to 2:00 pm) & evening shift (5:00 pm to 9:00 pm). The department has also engaged two visiting consultants for the concerning specialties of orthodontics & oral maxillofacial surgery.

Condition in oral cavity may be indicative of systemic diseases like osteoporosis, diabetes or cancer studies show that gum diseases are associated with increases risk of heart disease, preterm birth and diabetes. Dentistry is important for over all health. Dental Treatments at Pak Medical Centre is carried out by highly qualified dental surgeons along with dental auxiliaries ( dental assistants, dental hygienist etc).

The department of dental care has become the centre of excellence in the area due to the comprehensive range of dental treatments at affordable prices accessible to poor patients. The treatment costs are generally lower as compared to private dental practice. The separate section of sterilization is equipped with latest autoclaves in line with international sterilization standards. Separate instruments are used for known patients of hepatitis B & C. We also offer disposable kits on patient’s demand. Patient to patient and patient to doctor contamination measures are taken care off.
